Certifications
Alutitan boasts UNI EN ISO 9001, UNI EN ISO 14001, and IATF 16949:2016 certifications. A system of tracing the entire production activity, perfected over the years, allows associating processing times, materials used, machines, and personnel involved with each batch processed. The collection of data from the production process is automated and therefore highly reliable. In addition to this, sophisticated data acquisition tools (Data Loggers) "photograph" the production process at intervals of up to two seconds, dating each "frame". From the data collected, it is possible to reconstruct the production process in its minutest details, in order to constantly improve the production process itself or, in case of malfunctions, to precisely diagnose the triggering causes.

The advanced technology of our production chain, combined with the great experience of the operators, allows us to offer a high-quality product. The UNI EN ISO 9001 certification is the guaranteed quality mark and is present in all various processing phases, from the choice of raw material to the finished and delivered product. Production is supported by a sophisticated, highly automated technological apparatus, which employs cutting-edge product handling concepts. Alutitan possesses specific technology that preserves extrusions from scratches, dents, and other damages frequently encountered with traditional handling methods. Expert technicians constantly supervise all machines, programmed to automatically perform the various processing phases, from loading the billets to packaging the profiles and final parceling.
UNI EN ISO 14001
Our Company has always, aware of the ecological qualities of aluminum, planned all production processes according to the standards provided for environmental respect. Alutitan has activated a Company Management System compliant with UNI EN ISO 14001 standards for environmental management.
In order to contribute to the conservation of the planet, Alutitan commits to pursue the following objectives:

IATF 16949:2016
In a perspective of development and progress, Alutitan achieved the prestigious IATF 16949 certification at the end of 2022, the specific standard for the automotive industry that provides quality management system requirements for continuous improvement, defect prevention, and reduction of variations and waste in the supply chain. The IATF 16949 certification is often a contractual prerequisite, demonstrating that Alutitan has been audited and found compliant with the standard requirements set by the members of the International Automotive Task Force (IATF). IATF 16946 is based on ISO 9001 and national quality standards in the automotive sector and can be easily integrated with other management system standards. It enables a continuous process to help identify, report, and improve areas of your management system and relevant business processes. The standard is applicable to any organization that produces components, assemblies, and parts for supply to the automotive industry, covering the entire supply chain worldwide. Alutitan is the first San Marino-based company with an IATF 16949 certificate issued by DNV, therefore, it is automatically included in the corresponding global database.
EPD - Environmental Product Declaration
With a focus on environmental responsibility, transparency, and sustainable development, Alutitan has obtained the Environmental Product Declaration (EPD) certification for its aluminium extruded profiles. EPDs are third-party verified environmental product declarations published under The International EPD® System, providing objective, comparable, and scientifically based information on the environmental impact of products throughout their entire life cycle. Alutitan’s EPDs, officially available in the public database at www.environdec.com, certify the environmental performance of both standard aluminium extruded profiles and recycled aluminium extruded profiles, clearly highlighting the role of recycling in reducing COâ�� emissions.

FACTORY PRODUCTION CONTROL
The Factory Production Control conformity certification certifies that the company’s production system is subject to planned, continuous and documented checks aimed at ensuring the consistency of the product’s performance over time. This certificate confirms that all stages of production are monitored according to defined procedures, with the aim of ensuring traceability, reliability and compliance with the applicable technical and regulatory requirements, also for the purposes of CE marking of construction products.
